More strong entries yielded more strong scores in the IABC Heritage Region 2007 Silver Quill competition. Judges chose 18 Award of Excellence winners and 31 Award of Merit winners.

Each of the 98 entries in the 2007 award competition was judged by at least two judges. Awards of Excellence went only to entries that scored an average of six points or more on a seven-point scale.

 

Awards of Merit scored five-to-5.99 average points on a seven-point scale.

Awards for the 2007 and 2008 Silver Quill competitions will be awarded at the October, 2008 Heritage Region Conference to be held in Hartford, Conn.
